Clarification: Anyone's wife use a weighted blanket ? :D

That said, my wife has put one on our bed and I can tell you some of them are very heavy. Too heavy (for me). I understand the point is to have that weight but I'll bet some are too heavy for some people, some people like it, and for some it's not heavy enough. Definitely try different ones.

I have trouble sleeping. My wife bought one of me, thinking it might help. It did a little, but it’s too short. I’m only 6’, but I like to cocoon myself in my blanket.

My little one got sick all over it and they’re that not easy to clean well.

I heard about them. Never tried it. I toss and turn too much as it is. Wonder if this blanket would stop that.

I wake up with a faux hawk most mornings I toss and turn so much. The weight blanket helped a little, but not much.

I'm thinking about buying one. Does it help you sleep better?
I don't have a weighted blanket, but I have a heavy goose down. When I say heavy, I mean twice as heavy as a synthetic. I love it, it falls right around meand masks movement by the other half a bit. But it's WARM under there... No heat wanted in the room and I sleep naked. 15C is about right for room temperature. That's roughly 50F. So only used in winter...

Same here. Wife says, what if you have to jump out of bed in the middle of the night? I say, that would be the least of my problems to deal with.

As someone that suffers from anxiety, a weighted blanket does provide a feeling of comfort.

It may seem downright stupid to people that don't experience "anxiety attacks." But don't worry about them. Worry about you.

Yes, it works.

I wouldn’t like the weight. A goose down or alternative filled comforter is something on the lighter side that will keep you toasty.
There are also rocking chairs, music, and other things that can help calm one with anxiety. Exercise, yoga, being outside, various things.
