Hello, I have an Oil Shop, I ordered this week STP Additives and also they sent me 3 Packages of a product called: PROTECT from JetGo its a Teflon PTFE Engine Treatment..
each one costs 30$ .. I wondered if there is a JetGo company online, but no luck, I wonder if this is a good product and Teflon as a whole a good additive for the engine...
and if this price normal or usually Teflon additives are expensive?

*** If anyone knows the company website that manufacture this product I'd be Glad! Thanks!

This is what the product looks like:

Plse do a search RE: PTFE oil additives or similar stuff such as Slick-50s and the likes.

FTC has filed lawsuits against these products and their makers for false advertising.....

Go figure.

p.s. here in Continental US, we do not see much of the oil brands that you may have over there in Lebanon so forgive us if we cannot answer your questions.

i bet Mobil would like to know that some flim flam company is claiming to be mixing teflon with their Mobil 1 and advertising it on their boxes

It will be funny to hear if Mobil/Exxon does anything because of somebody mixing PTFE and Mobil 1 oil and then selling the product (probably without permission of Mobil/Exxon).

A lot of these products containing PTFE were fined by the FTC. The one exception I can think of is Tufoil. I never heard anything about the makers of Tufoil being fined. Maybe they are too small of a target. Wilson of Wilson Combat does say that Tufoil for guns is good stuff (I think it is called Guncote).
