Anyone ever rebuild an Allied floor jack?

By and large they're all the same and straightforward. Just remember to not contact the seal groove with the sharp metal pick or small flathead to remove the seals. The gouge they cause will make it leak and slowly lose pressure and come down slowly but never suddenly fail. Also inspect the seals before installation.

I just rebuilt my 25-year-old Arcan with parts from hcrcnow and it worked great. My jack is like new again for rather less money than buying a new jack. Probably the only things you need to change are the ram, pump, and release shaft seals. Obviously, also change the oil.
