Anyone else turn everything off when you stop the car?

I just shut it down and hop out. The exception being my 6.7 Powerstroke, I make sure to idle it a bit if I was towing or just climbed a big hill to keep the turbo happy.

This is an interesting side discussion. When does a turbo spin at 10K rpms? @75 passing on the highway? @ 25 on a residential street going home? Curious because we had a 1.5T Equinox and I never heard the turbo spooling down after shutdown but maybe they don't make any noise?
I have never heard any turbine whine from our 2018 1.5; the GM engineers really made that thing quiet. On the the other hand, you definitely can hear the turbo spooling up and down in my dad's 1987 Saab 9000.

It's not about how long a turbo takes to spool down but about how long it takes to cool down so that it doesn't cook the oil after switch off. With modern oils that's not the problem it once was but it's still good practice to idle the turbo for a few secs if the engine has been under heavy load immediately prior to shutdown.

I totally turn off the HVAC in the Maverick. It's a simple one button push. Not sure all Ford's do this but when sitting with the system off there no air flow. If your going down the highway at speed there is flow through ventilation if the system isn't set to recirculate. Apparantly this gets rid of the computer messing with things when its off and one less thing drawing power when the truck is off.
