cheesepuffs - Ahh, that makes sense. I was just over-analyzing the wording I guess. And yes, haha, the good ol' Camaro likes its Pennzoil conventional. My parents bought it brand new in 1989 off the floor, and my mom drove it to work until 1994. It's all original, only 50k miles, and is a great show car. It'll leave a one tire fire mark for a good 50+ feet if you know how to do it, lol. We get it out every summer and take it to car shows.
SwedishRider - I'm sorry, I misunderstood your post. I thought you were just generalizing about the 10w-40... lol, I live in a small town (less than three thousand people) and our DG carries more STP oil than it does its own DG brand. I can't believe DG would sell that [censored] without a big warning sticker. Anyway, I only buy API spec SM and SN... I'd never get anything older. On another laughable note, I saw some SL spec oil on the shelves of a local K-mart, but it seriously had been sitting there, on that shelf, since SL spec was still in service! It was layered in dust lmao!
