Any recent submersible well pump replacement quotes?

Last well pump I did myself. Figure an average 20 yrs. life out of a quality submersible pump, not a box store pump either.

We do not get that kind of life out of ours. Usually the motor goes bad. We average 5-7 years out of a pump and motor.

There must be an underlying problem there. Should last at least 12 years. What brand is being used? Is there a voltage problem? Is the pump short cycling? Is it grounded properly? Does it run dry very often? Is there excessive coarse grit coming through?

What brand are you using? We got 28 years out of our last Franklin, but that was made in the USA. A new Mexican made Franklin went in.

Franklin motor and goulds pump. The well guy even said that the made in Mexico motor would not last like the old motor did
