I can't find a single reason to actually use CE at $7.99 per bottle. Since that's in Amsoil & Schaeffer price range, one would do better looking away from the CE display and buying the oil from a smaller vendor.
You're getting "approached from the rear" if you're paying that kind of money for Schaeffer's oil. At least for the 7000 series syn-blend. Never tried the 9000 series full synthetic. For me, Schaeffer 7000 is cheaper than Wal-Mart's price on Pennzoil Platinum or Mobil 1. I paid ~$4.50/qt last time I changed oil with Schaeffer 7000.
