Any 0w30 users here?

I've used Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy 0W30 in a couple vehicles and it works like any other. Those dipsticks sure make or break cost on luxury vehicles.

At my work for Alfa Romeo’s we have that special 0w30 we are using MOPAR 0w30 oil. Kinda annoying how many cars I see without a dipstick. Guess a dipstick costs too much eh?
Running Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy 0W30 in my 03 Civic now. Due to be changed next weekend after being in there over 9 months and ~4300 miles. Will get a used oil analysis done and post here.

Probably a very a small portion of users since 0w30 is a rare beast on the shelves, with a equally nice price premium over say a 5w30.

i run amsoil signature 0w30 by necessity in winter. i never plug my car and my car is always outside exposed to the elements, and temperatures drop often below -36 celcius without wind chill where i live. last year was record year for cold in my area as temperature dropped to -48 celcius without wind chill 3 times. i also use Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy 0w30. i am also very much intrigued by hpl 0w30 premium plus series. it has very good specs for extreme cold.

I’ve got 0W30 in a couple of cars.

I’ve also got a couple of cars without dipsticks. More expensive to have a level sensor than dipstick.

Not sure which one you are objecting to, the viscosity in your title, or the lack of a dipstick in your post.

I’ll clarify. I don’t see why some vehicles don’t have a dipstick. Nothing bout te viscosity.

Also, there are a couple of 0W30s on my short list for future oils to try. Others have already mentioned them above.
Mobil 1 ESP 0W30
Pennzoil Platinum Euro LX

Any ILSAC GF-6 & GM dexos1 Gen 3 approved SAE 0w30 will work.
  • Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy 0w30 SP GM dexos1 Gen 3 is the best choice for Alfa Romeo. It is better than Mopar 0W-30, even though it doesn't have the Stellantis specs.
Do not use a Euro ACEA C3 0w30 such as Mobil 1 ESP 0w30 or Pennzoil Euro LX 0W-30, as they have the incorrect viscosity (HTHS ≥ 3.5 cP).

I used to like Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy in the appropriate application, but it seems they turned into weak sauce...
