At my work for Alfa Romeo’s we have that special 0w30 we are using MOPAR 0w30 oil. Kinda annoying how many cars I see without a dipstick. Guess a dipstick costs too much eh?
Running M1 AFE 0W30 in my 03 Civic now. Due to be changed next weekend after being in there over 9 months and ~4300 miles. Will get a UOA done and post here.At my work for Alfa Romeo’s we have that special 0w30 we are using MOPAR 0w30 oil. Kinda annoying how many cars I see without a dipstick. That special one will be different from AFE people mentioned here.At my work for Alfa Romeo’s we have that special 0w30 we are using MOPAR 0w30 oil. Kinda annoying how many cars I see without a dipstick. Guess a dipstick costs too much eh?
yeah, planning to start using it. Not stocked locally in our walmart. I dont mind if I have to order it.Probably a very a small portion of users since 0w30 is a rare beast on the shelves, with a equally nice price premium over say a 5w30.
M1 0w30 same price as regular M1 5w30Probably a very a small portion of users since 0w30 is a rare beast on the shelves, with a equally nice price premium over say a 5w30.

I’ll clarify. I don’t see why some vehicles don’t have a dipstick. Nothing bout te viscosity.I’ve got 0W30 in a couple of cars.
I’ve also got a couple of cars without dipsticks. More expensive to have a level sensor than dipstick.
Not sure which one you are objecting to, the viscosity in your title, or the lack of a dipstick in your post.
Any ILSAC GF-6 & GM dexos1 Gen 3 approved SAE 0w30 will work.At my work for Alfa Romeo’s we have that special 0w30 we are using MOPAR 0w30 oil. Kinda annoying how many cars I see without a dipstick. Guess a dipstick costs too much eh?
Mobil 1 never makes a weak sauce.I used to like Mobil 1 AFE in the appropriate application, but it seems they turned into weak sauce...
Maybe not but both AFE applications have a higher pour point (-42) then I'd like in a 0W oil so they've taken most of the PAO out of them. There just seem like better options for the money...Mobil 1 never makes a weak sauce.
