Thanks for the reply. After reading so many Internet stories about the MPG bump with MMO, I was disappointed that my 1999 Lexus GS400 was not included. However, I'll take the smoother idle any day.
I'm surprised that you didn't noticed an MPG penalty going from a 5w30 to a 5W-40. In that same car I went from a 0w30 to a 0W-40 and noticed about a 1.5 MPG drop, which is significant for a V8, which already gets poor mileage.
I did notice a couple of days ago that the vehicle does shake at idle with the AC running. Since adding MMO, it has stopped shaking with just normal air blowing and when no air is blowing, and so I am happy with the improvement.
