Hi long time listener, first time caller.
Just adding a data point for the rebate. This is my first time doing a Pennzoil rebate and it's been several years since submitting mail-in rebates in general. Gone are the days in clipping the UPC code from the container/cardboard box.

I submitted my PUP rebate on 3/14/25, purchased 2 jugs of PUP 5w30 PZLPL 071611365590 from local Walmart store with a paper receipt. Took a picture of the paper receipt and downloaded it to the computer and generated a letter size PDF file to upload to the rebate center. Got a confirmation online after submission. No email confirmation in my inbox nor spam folder.

As I posted previously, your receipt may be automatically read as PP instead of PUP...that PZLPL on the receipt must be read as PP in Pennzoil system.
When I called again but absolutely make sure, now they are saying "oh, two jugs must be of the same viscosity"...I bought 0w 20 and 5w30 (as I have done in the past). Not sure this is true as I have purchased plenty of diff viscosities in the past....

Got my gift card the other day, but couldn’t use it online since it has no zip code attached to it. How are you all using your gift cards? Other cards I’ve had allow you to tie a zip code to it, but not this one.

E gift card. Mine took almost a couple weeks from “processed” to actually getting the email with the gift card.

I submitted mine about 6 weeks ago and heard nothing. I must have missed the confirmation email in spam too, which emptied itself. I called and she manually looked it up. It was just approved but has not been sent yet. I should see it in the next 1-2 weeks. So expect to wait about 2 months if you're just now submitting.

Well hot dog, WM recently organized our motor oil aisle and PUP now has three grades available. (Although, no more Euro L.)

For an online order and in-store pickup from Walmart, there isn’t an in-store receipt, therefore the online ordering rules will apply.

Got mine in about 30 days. Applied it to my Amazon account as that is the easiest way for me to deal with it. Bought a 6 pack of VR1.

FYI, when I checked the status of the rebate, it shows PP although I purchased PUP. Looks like the Walmart code is rather mis-leading, as PUP is indicated as PZLPL and the system may read this as PP. I called in and they manually (and quickly) corrected the entry to be PUP. YMMV but you may want to double check and address the issue upfront.

I'm concerned that PUP 5W-20 just shows up on my Walmart in-store receipt as 'PZLPL 5W205Q'. Terms state receipt must clearly show variant of oil. Could easily see this being rejected since they think it's just Platinum and being told to resubmit for $20 instead of $30. Anyone ever run into this before? If I enter the TC number from my Walmart receipt on their app, it pulls up that I purchased PUP.

Were you guys able to get the rebates?

Are they strict about the submission being on one reciept? I had to split my purchase on two receipts at Home Depot.
