From last winter, I noticed some squeaks from the front of the car esp. when I make a turn. I thought it could be the salt and the squeaks were not very noticeable.
Recently, the squeaks are becoming more and more noticeable and now, sometimes, I can even hear some squeaks while driving forward. The squeaks do not happen every time but they happen more and more frequently these days. And like I said, they happen more frequently when I turn the wheel slowly and at low speed, say when I turn into a parking spot.
Could it be the power steering system? I checked the fluid level and it was good. Thanks for any advice!
PS: my car is a chevy malibu 2003 w/ about 106, 000 KM (66, 000 miles).
