Hello again and let me know how many of you have a anniversary of any sort; i.e. marriage, when you bought your first car, anything. I am a history, fact, and conversationalist nut; seriously. I like the little things in life. Just thought I would ask how many of you have great anniversarys on anything so let me know and thank you in advance.

In January 2012 will be my 25th wedding anniversary with a great gal and in May 2012 will be my 20th anniversary with the great company that I work for. June 2012 will mark 10 years of ownershp of a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac along with all of the trials (3 replacement rear diffs) and tribulations (otherwise excellent durability) associated with it.

Thank you gents for the replies and let me wish all of you HAPPY ANNIVERSARY when the time comes to celebrate another. I have now been with my wonderful company for 3 yrs as of January 8th(sorry for posting that as its passed).

I can't remember Anniversaries or Birthdays, Heck I can't even remember my own B'day. I was, at one time, 36 for three year straight!

Wife's B'day is Dec 25th, that's why were still together.
Our Anniversary is sometime before May.

Outside of birthdays, wedding anniversaries, and recognized holidays...

My family always celebrates Independence Day on November 11th. It was a tradition that my grandparents brought over from the old country and was done in remembrance and support of all of our family members who were stuck behind the iron curtain (the holiday was banned from the end of WWII until 1989).

We keep the holiday going and treat it like a July 4th in November (fireworks, beer, BBQ, music, lots of Polish food, and Skyping with my cousins). As far as I know, my family is the only one out there who celebrates the holiday in this manner (it's a somber holiday for most).

11 years of marriage this summer
10 years as a parent this fall
7 years of owning my GTI as of last December

I think our 30th wedding anniversary passed sometime in February - it's not a subject to be mentioned in our household,it's a date buried and to be forgotten. We didn't want to get married, but we did it to keep our parents quiet and for tax benefits. There was a lower tax rate for a married man back then.
