Celebrity deaths usually don’t upset me, but this one caught me off guard. I first discovered Depeche Mode through my father a few years ago and I liked them, but I really got into to them about 2 years ago and they’ve been one of my favorite groups since. While he wasn’t known as the most important member of the band, he was know as “the glue” that kept the band together. The group was on the verge of breaking up during the mid 90s, but he’s one of the people that helped the other members stay.

Best regards to Fletcher’s family, his friends and band mates

Death is part and parcel of life. We appreciate life because of death. I certainly wish it were different. But,?

Me thinks we're a dying generation. ...

A friend of mine once told me: "The worst part of growing old is the funerals you have to attend."
A curse of out living your friends.

You are so right. So many artists have left us the past couple years.
Can't help but wonder if it's the life style they have to endure, if it's not drugs or booze all the time on the road can't be good for you.
