How do I get my 5 minutes back ? What a waste of time reading this thread !

I never had anyone in the "Ignore List" in any forum that I'm a member. You, XtremeRevolution, are the first one in that honor list.

PS I don't know how to get someone in the "Ignore List", need instruction. Thanks.

Calling me out on what is or isn't a group 3 oil while conveniently ignoring the discussion that led to me moving posts around while forgetting to update the titles. What a crime. I'm surprised he didn't notice that the last update was posted in the thread as 12/17/13 yet the "last updated" date automated by AutoGuide.com was last month. Being a little absent-minded comes with working 4 jobs and raising a 4 month old kid. Most people point out the error instead of creating an entire thread about it.

I will not name names, but I sincerely loathe people who will write someone off entirely due to them being an AMSOIL dealer. Again, this is why I stopped coming here. People will find any reason they can to "pwn" you on the interwebs, and that includes attempting to discredit you with personal attacks instead of facts. I have yet to see any in this thread, and your "representative" did a fine job if I may say so myself.

Pablo, it is ironic because my first AMSOIL purchase was from you. Remmeber? 2 quarts of Synchromesh for a Cruze ECO MT?

Among other sources of testing, most of my information comes from the following:

http://www.pqiamerica.com/March2013PCMO/Marchsyntheticsallfinal.html

Most if not all of the group 3 hydrocracked oils out there will struggle to hit a NOACK volatility of below 10, most likely due to their need for higher levels of pour point depressants and viscosity index additives. Of course, none of you bothered to read the actual discussion, or the fact that I have repeatedly recommended non-AMSOIL products across all of CruzeTalk in my 10,000+ posts there.

No one is at fault because you are intellectuality challenged. If you are that busy do not offer advice you only have a basic flawed understanding of. Now you can cry.

Thanks.

Never done it before. I may disagreed with some posters in some subjects, but never thought about ignoring anyone. This guy is different than anyone else.

Of course. And I'm sure he's banned anyone who posted the deleted comments.
He doesn't want anyone to know the truth however with any luck a few of the members from that site will come over here and see just what they have in their moderator/administrator over there at cruise talk.
He's got no class whatsoever and defended his position poorly, offering only excuses as to why what was what.
Its sad that there are sites with people like that in charge. The ill informed members will believe his thread with any point of view that isn't the same censored.
Its sad he's got to resort to such tactics however in the face of truth the only way to win is censor in hopes the membership doesn't find out he's a fake.

Good to know. Nobody under my skin just yet, but it is something I'm glad to know about. Thanks.

Clevy;

I was on an auto forum "briefly" due to someone like this with a major power trip. A question came up about K&N air filters. I posted a simple statement in response that they are only good IMO for a longer service life vs paper filters but don't expect MPG or HP. I also mentioned they should not be used in the vehicles the forum covered( a GM one )due to the MAF being so close to the air box. I explained how the filter oil can foul it and cause problems and even included a GM TSB about the exact issue. Very useful and civil response.

This other person, who was the site Admin, jumped me publicly because some of what I said someone else had too and he didn't want me cluttering his board up with my drivel. He ripped me a new one for just answering a question was the bottom line. I was so dumbfounded I responded "are you nuts"..."all I did was answer the OP's question"?

Next time I went to the site I got a blank screen with a message saying banned. I managed to get a contact e-mail for the site and asked what the heck I did to get banned. Well, in short, the guy had a hissy because I dared challenge his authority so he kicked me out. What a crock. Later I ran into some folks on another forum for the same vehicle who realized who I was and told me he does it all the time.

I think this XR guy suffers from the same insecurities and over inflated sense of self worth. I have seen it happen a lot with Mod's. They get a little power and lose all control of their senses.

Coukd you imagine the uproar if you posted your used oil analysis of RP. You know the ones that show it's stayed in grade throught the entire interval and showed lots of life left when you changed it.
Might start a riot over there.
Imagine that. Actual data that calls into question his claims.

I thought that too. Imagine, I ran an oil that is not recommended at all let alone not one of his tier 1 or whatever nonsense he has come up with levels and my engine actually did great on it and didn't blow up. Boy am I lucky.

That guy has a massive case of God complex and would never listen to another view or allow it to be seen by others however. If I posted that UOA it would be removed and I would be banned ASAP.

I feel bad for those people though swallowing the garbage he is feeding them. The vast majority of it is just recycled myths and rumors or outright lies/falsehoods on his part. Scary really. A bunch of Lemmings being lead to the sea.

You figure he would have the ability to click on the UOA links and see all the good reviews with respect to his Tier 3 list...i dont think M1 is lower than other oils. Supertech better than M1. Sure...

Pretty much.
There was a time I actually believed the stuff that guy writes as though the oil gods had touched amsoil and only amsoil with their special sauce and I used amsoil exclusively for years.
During that time I'd seen 350 chev engines running rp with synerlec just get beat on yet the engines were spotless and the cam lobes showed no wear whatsoever.
It was at that point I really started looking at royal purple and I maintain my position that synerlec is something very special. I've seen with my own eyes what engines running RP look like and never once have I seen anything to suggest royal purple wasn't a top notch product.
It's sad that this guy won't let amsoil sell itself. The product is great and should stand, and does stand on its own merits and it only takes away from the product to have shills like mr cruise talk selling their product.
We are fortunate to have Pablo who shares in our conversations and helps many get an accurate view of his product.
And to trash RP,Mobil etc to build up another product is absurd. They've all got merits even though they don't play high on his tiered list.

He's just building his Amsoil business.

Looks like he'll be successful. He took your feedback and clarified his list. I think you actually helped him!

Hopefully the readers there will realize what he is up to. He is giving them every chance. Just on one page he said the following:

Cast doubt on PU because of formulation changes and no dexos certification. Conveninently forgets that it is his tier 1 oil (for the Cruze) and Amsoil does not have dexos certification either.

Responded to a question from a concerned owner about to get a free oil change with Edge which he has seen is a tier 3 oil. Advises him to run the OLM to 10%! And says that Edge is miles ahead of GM oil.

So PU in tier 1 is bad because it is not dexos certified, but GM oil which is dexos certified cannot make it to tier 3 and is miles worse than Edge which is in tier 3!

What a load of nonsense!

The best part is the dexos certifications. These owners are following him blindly in that they feel he knows his stuff,he trashes on certified products yet pushes uncertified ones.
Absurd.
Not that I think that amsoil would is in any way inferior to a dexos certified oil however if a person wanted to play by warranty rules and simplify just in case then it only makes sense to use a dexos licensed product.
We all know castrol's oils have been returning very good used oil analysis at extended intervals so for him to trash on Castrol is again very poor judgement.
Running a business means integrity and this cat has none.
Amsoil can stand on its own without any need to make any stupid lists.
