That is what you get when you run low amounts of the good stuff and lots of the cheap stuff!!! If this was their European fully synthetic stuff I think it would have faired better! I have convidence in POE's ability to compete with PAO in a production engine under normal conditions. I do not think that a product with more GII and GIII then POE can hope to compete with a 100% or close to it PAO product.

There EURO formula uses GRP III. There non Euro is POE stock based. NOT GRP III. The add's and other based oils I dont know. But I willing to bet its not GRP II.

Thanks for the reading Buster, I saw this a long time ago but could never find it again. Red Line made a good statement, however, they should have used Amsoil for the same length of miles as Red Line's 20w-50. Amsoil's wear spiked after 338 miles, and was reduced at 919 miles, and if it is true that "used oil reduces wear" then of course Red Line's oil will look better since it went from 0 miles to 2252 miles and 20,342 miles. Other than that, I must say that it's good to see Red Line test against a real name instead of "Petroleum xw-xx" and "Synthetic xw-xx".

Very well stated. Thanks.
