Amsoil's dark roast blend?

I decided to run some Amsoil 0w30 sso in place of my normal fill of either Shell full synthetic or Pennzoil Platinum 5w30 in my 06 v6 Toyota 4runner and I have noticed after 4,000 miles that my Amsoil is quite dark in color much more so then either of the other oils at the same miles would be I have about 80K on the truck by the way. First ? is this from the Amsoil cleaning the gunk out of my V6? and second should I change it out sooner then the 7 or 8K I was going to run it?

By the way the filter is the same I always run The P1 filter

Could be some cleaning, could be just a colour change.

Run it out to 10k - it's a great long-drain oil!

I put my bet on the detergents.
Out of curiosity, did you run Engine Flush before you swapped AMSOIL in? I doubt it, but just wanting to cover all the bases here.

Some cleaning, some darkening. Means nothing really.

color means nothing keep it in for the 8k you had planned.
