Not sure if you still have factory fill oil in your engine, but that does sometimes contain some less commonly used additives to help the final break in period for a new engine. If you use an oil not approved of by the manufacturer there is also a remote chance that traces of that break in oil react with the new oils additives or even the base stock.
Amsoil XL and OE are API listed oils. They meet the warranty requirements. Not sure where you got the leaking seals thing, maybe just threw that one in? Not relevant.
Actually most, if not all factory fill is bulk low bidder oil. Nothing that special. Sometimes we see some interesting assembly compounds in used oil analysis of factory fill. But really nothing special. Your last sentence is really laughable. Why post such nonsense? I'd love to see a link to the research.
You've been posting anti-Amsoil stuff since you joined. Posting the diesel oil comparison and calling it an "Amsoil article" still isn't sitting right. Problem is, you really don't know what you are talking about, or you just spout 1/2 of something you read somewhere else. You are free to post within the rules, and I am free to correct you.
