Graphite moly-disulfide coatings have been used on pistons for at least a decade. Ford has coated pistons at least as far back as 1999.

ppm/1000 mile number are almost always lower with long OCI's.

How does the Boron come and go?
Also, what happened to the magnesium at the end?

Those are universal averages from Blackstone.

Repeatability problems involve the whole process, from sampling consistency to lab measurement variances. That's why I don't put a lot of stock in these UOAs showing which oil is better unless you see a magnitude of difference over several OCIs and samplings.
