Amsoil Sabre and Fuel Stabilizer

Does Amsoil Sabre contain fuel stabilizer like Stihl's 2 stroke oil's? I always add some extra stabilizer (whether its optima, briggs, or amsoil's own) because in my experience carburetor float bowls and two stroke carburetor's diaphragms never have any junk floatin on or around them.

I don't believe it does........

I just add the Amsoil stuff.

I've been using AST + ATP with great results.

For that matter, AST itself has been far superior to Sta-bil in all applications I've tried.

from what i understand, 2 stroke oils have an inherent fuel stabilizing effect.

Some two stroke oils like Stihl do. The cheap big box store brand 2 stroke oils don't. We have so many saws coming in with varnished carburetors and fuel filters with rotten lines just from sitting a year with regular two stroke oil (Like Motormaster or the cheap Echo stuff).
