FWIW, In my playing around test, I have never been able to notice by ear or a tach, a starting or running difference between brands. I compared new, correct gap, correct heat range plugs, in saws and trimmer. Properly running, and adjusted RedMax saw, Stihl saw and Stihl trimmer. Champion, NGK, Autolite and E3. I have no idea if one lasts longer than the other. I see many people dislike champion, and I do not use them myself. But I could not tell a difference in my equipment.
