I’m sure this question has been asked several times but, for an all stock car is Amsoil signature series pretty much the best one can by.
I’m asking for use in a 24 suburban with a 6.2
Also, I live in south Florida. Car calls for 0w20. But I would rather use 5w30. I know there are a ton of threads on that but just short and to the point answers.
Looking for a general opinion here of someone who know a lot about oil. I dont mind spending the money I plan on keeping the car as long as possible.

Thank you

Just as there are a ton of threads on 0W-20 vs. 5w30 there are a ton of threads on whether Amsoil is “pretty much the best one can buy”.

@Pablo is a good resource.

6.2 Use Amsoil OE 5w30 to start: https://www.amsoil.com/p/amsoil-oe-5w30-100-synthetic-motor-oil-oef/?zo=515729

Or use Semi-syn 5w30: https://www.amsoil.com/p/amsoil-5w30-synthetic-blend-motor-oil-sb530/?zo=515729

Then after a few changes, when all is well, no very rare infant mortality switch to: https://www.amsoil.com/p/amsoil-signature-series-5w30-100-synthetic-motor-oil-asl/?zo=515729

I'm with Member Glenda. AMSOIL Signature Series 5w30 is one of the best. Run it for the entire warranty period.
Mobil 1 Extended Performance, Castrol EDGE Extended Performance, Valvoline Extended Protection and Pennzoil Ultra Platinum are four good substitutes.

does your owner's manual recommend other viscosity's, as for severe service ?,,if not the AMSOIL Signature Series would be a good choice or Pennzoil ultra Platinum 0w-20.
