Amsoil or Toyota Type IV ?

Hey guys,

Im goinna be doing a flush on a 95lexus gs300, currnetly has amsoil synthetic (40k on the oil),wanted to know if I should stickw ith amosoil or go with Toyota type IV.

If it were currently just TIV in there then for the sake of economics i would use TIV. Some people may debate this point though.

I'd stick with Amsoil. It's a far better fluid than T-IV IMO.

The Toyota is a semi synthetic fluid correct? Or is it a full syn?

I don't think the Toyota T-IV is synthetic at all.

Stick with Amsoil, add a Magnefine filter.

as a 2 yota owner, stick with the amsoil. bc for the $$$ T4 sucks

If you tow at all, many Toyota owners on Toyota forums complain that the T IV looks burnt with low miles, even with a transmission cooler. I would stick with the Amsoil
