Amsoil Oil For Lawn Mower & Generator

I have a 6.5 HP 4 cycle Toro lawn mower and a 4 cycle 10 HP generator, both B&S engines. I've been using Amsoil ASE 10W-30/SAE 30 in both the lawn mower and generator but am thinking since I sometimes use the generator in the winter (Chicago area) I would be better off running Amsoil AFF 0W-40 in the generator. What do you all think about this?

10-30 in your OPE is fine. I use it in all my OPE with success.

The amsoil should work fine year round. Has a very low pour point. I use it in all my outdoor equipment.

I agree with tig. Pour point when cold is decent.

Why not run Amsoil 4-stroke in OPE? Its made for air cooled 4 stroke engines.

Both the Amsoil ASE 10W-30/SAE 30 and AFF 0W-40 are from their 4 stroke oils lineup.
