Amsoil euro EOT 0w-30 VOA for those interested. Thanks

Interesting - no moly, 50% less boron than SS, some group V of some sort based on oxidation value. Ca/Mg values lower than SS. The one attribute that makes this noticeably different than SS other than additive levels is the higher HT/HS. Hmm Titanium?

Oil Analyzers is supposed to be the one to know what Amsoil oil looks like. It appears they have no idea about the titanium which is disappointing. Otherwise looks like a very good oil. Thanks for testing.

I would like to hear from @edyvw about this vs Castrol euro. I’ve become a bit of an Amsoil & HPL fanboy, but still want validation before I express my fandom. Oh, I am also a Castrol Euro 0w30 fanboy…though concerned they have or will make it a mere shadow of its former self.

EOT? Looks fairly similar when it comes to pour point and Noack. Edge is up to 50% PAO, probably Amsoil is similar. Can’t find MSDS.
I don’t know current additive package of Edge 0W30. It is probably same as one in 0W40 API SP. I will do UOA soon when I get it out from Sequoia. I am maybe 800mls to OCI.

Titanium is something that was big in the Castrol Euro oils for JLR, maybe Amsoil was inspired.
