This is great, 2 months ago I got an AFE Pro Dry Air Filter for my Marauder and now Amsoil comes out with an air filter!

As long as I don't get my hopes up, I can't be disappointed... at least that's what I tell myself

Very disappointed. I had finally accepted this wasn't going to happen and I was in the middle of the healing process when you got my hopes up just to be disappointed again.

So I guess no word on Honda/Acura filters?

This should give you an idea as to how fast these filters move: Last time I went to AAP to buy an air filter for my car, it was the oldest box on the shelf. The packaging was completely different & outdated, and simply said "Purolator" on the box. I took it out of the box and found that it was made in 1998. Keep in mind this was last year when I purchased it. I guess Integra air filters aren't big sellers in West Michigan.

I choose to think you're right ThirdeYe, not many Honda filters sold. With so many running up and down the road though(a lot of potential sales), you would think Amsoil would jump all over it. Could it be Honda owners rarely change their air filters?

Or maybe a vast majority of bargain hunters and won't spend the money for anything that can't find on the shelves of Wal*Mart.

I'd think that a large amount of Honda owners like to get the Cold Air Intakes, especially the younger crowd. Maybe that's why they don't sell as many of the regular air filters?

Or six years!

Both of my sons have cold air intakes on their Civics, I'm the only holdout. I know I can get an Amsoil filter for the CA intake. I think it's model 3151, not sure. I gave both of the boys an Amsoil filter for their CA intakes, but I want the stock setup. I am using an AFE PRO DRY S at the moment with great success.

I'm one of the only people I know with an Integra that has the stock intake, and from what I've seen it does a great job (low silicon in my UOAs). I'll stick to what Honda intended

I don't think there's a Pro Dry for my application either, but I could be wrong. I think I remember checking before. According to their site they don't have one for a '93 Civic either, where did you find yours?

I found the Pro Dry on their web site, in fact, I have two of them. Try again. I'm thinking that they are similar to the EAA. They use a two layer synthetic material for a claimed cumulative efficiency of 99.4%. Blackstone returned a 5 PPM silicon level last UOA, I'm impressed. I am waiting for the next UOA opportunity to see if the silicon stays at a low level.

Try, "AFE pro dry s search" in your internet search box. At the bottom of the page that comes up is a product search button, good luck.

I pm'ed you the link because I'm not sure if I'm supposed to post the link here, maybe you can help me find it from there, thanks

I found the web page. I looked up your Integra, sorry, they only have a listing for the RSX. Possibly Amsoil will come out with a filter for us, not in another year I hope. I think it's OK to post a link, I have seen many others do that.

It's okay, I tried not to get my hopes up

I'm happy with the Napa Gold air filter I've been using, so once I use this Purolator and get it analyzed to make sure that even though it's 10 years old, it's still filtering okay, I'll go back to using the Napa Golds exclusively since Fleet Filter can get a hold of them for my car, without them being from the stone age.
