This Amsoil EA15K-50 was installed on our 2010 Camaro SS L99 for 12,221 miles. It was installed when the oil was changed with Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5w30 and I ran it from 100% to 0% oil life left on the OLM. I took a sample when I changed the oil and the oil was still in good shape. I will post the Analysis later tonight or tomorrow. No I did not separate the media and lay it out flat. It’s a total waste of time IMO. I did look in the pleats and there was nothing visible jumping out at me.

Here is the link to my previous double filter change using a ACDelco filter and Wix. https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2500204#Post2500204

You can calculate the media area without separating the media and laying it all out flat. Just measure the depth and length of the pleats, and count the number of pleats. Media area = 2 x depth x length x # of pleats.

Filter looks good.

I meant that as in seeing anything abnormal when it comes to particles or pieces.

Well, maybe weld it back together without the ADBV and continue use?

That was meant for the two ADBV comments that were above that post. I forgot to quote them. Derrr on me.
