Amsoil ATL?

Hey Guys,

My '05 Equinox is due for a transmission fluid change. It takes T-IV ATF. I am looking for a full synthetic option. Will Amsoil's ATL work? I looked it up on Amsoil's website, which states that it is compatible with WS but doesn't mention T-IV. Is there a difference?

amsoils's ATF is for the T-IV application, ATL is for WS.

No.

Use Amsoil ATF if you need T-IV.

Amsoil ATF

ATL is for low vis ATF applications.

Thanks guys. I just looked at their website again, and I see it now. I was under the impression that T-IV was a lower vis fluid than their ATF, so I didn't even look at it. I learned something today. Always a good day when you learn something new.

T-IV is actually a poor excuse for an ATF!

Good for you switching to something of quality. Amsoil ATF is definately a premium fluid. You will like it.
