Hi,
I had flushed trans and switched to Amsoil ATF on my 2006 Elantra
GLS at 29500 mile and now have 43000 miles of smooth shifting.
However, I am continued to be warned by the kids at Elantra XD
that my trans will fail now at any time!
They claim SPIII is "very specific" fluid, made just for Hyundai and that the Amsoil is slowing "eating away the plastic parts in the trans" and its just a matter of time
before it fails.
I tell them Hyundai does NOT make the ATF, it just relabeled
with "Hyundai SPII". They just refuse to believe it!
Why do these silly, immature lies continue on ALL the Hyundai
forms??
