Amsoil lists the older Ford spec, Ford WSS-M2C-913, on the product data sheet. This is the equivalent of a GF-2/GF-3 specification, circa 2001, not the lower zinc/phos levels of the current 2005 SM grade oils.

Probably a good choice for your application, addtional ZDDP & heat protection, and the 11.3 cSt viscosity is a good choice for some weekend trips to the strip!

Isn't the WSS-M2C153-H for 5W-20 oils?
To answer your (indirect) question, about what oil I actually recommend, I need to know a bit more about your drving habits. Amsoil 0w30 is not an around town, few trips to the strip kind of oil. It's a long, long road trip oil. Mid-west sales guy kind of oil. Other than that usage it's a waste of money.

I'll be more direct.
Does Amsoil 0-30w meet ford spec. WSS-M2C153-H.
Drving hadits. Mybe about 10,000 miles a year, very easy drving on street, almost all in the country. Never drive in city anymore (retired).
Racing. One day per month for about five months out of the year.
I'm not interested in long term oil changes,only good protection for motor in winter and summer.

As Pablo said the WSS-M2C153-H spec is for 5w-20 oils only. If you are out of warranty, you can use what ever you want but the 5w-20 oils are good but I don't thing using an Xw-30 oil is a bad thing.
Frank D, I'm out of warranty. After reading what other racers are using in their stangs, talking to guy's at the track who race the SVT,Cobra's most but not all use the 5w-20 even after warranty. But I like the idea 0w-30. After all these years I'm getting curious about Amsoil oil, plus I found a auto parts near me that sells the stuff along with many other brands.

Amsoil 0w30 does not directly meet WSS-M2C153-H for upper end viscosity reasons. Amsoil does not claim the oil meets WSS-M2C153-H.
I think you should try Amsoil 5W-20.
