Drove a 2012 Shelby GT500 once. Fuzzy on the model (Shelby? GT500KR? Or just a GT500 but... My goodness. A manual, too. Thats why they picked me.

It appears to be a fine machine, but many agree that it does not fit larger frame / taller drivers. The roof line is too low for me. If they would raise the roofline 2-3 inches and add more glass it would help comfort and visibility a lot.

Exactly. It's too small and the roof... Ugh... blind spots on top of it. I know car guys that love this thing... until they own it awhile then gravitate to a Colorado ZR2.

No, but visibility is poor with a high beltline and short windows and windshield. Interior is very cramped too.

What I find very often said about the Camaro and visibility is not said very often about the others …
Well, we own a Mustang and I just rented a Challenger … none of which are like driving a sedan or SUV …

Thinking with wide angle digital mirrors and other electronic safety devices … it will only get better …

I'd have to drive both the Mustang and Camaro. To me a muscle car should be a V8 and the 6.2 with the 10 speed automatic is hard to beat. I don't know which engine in the Mustang is considered the "best". I'm starting to wonder if my next car will be the last ICE I own with so many going to EV now.

Test drove a 2020 LT1 (V8) last night.

Fun car to drive. Crude like most muscle cars. Great power and great 10spd automatic. Visibility is definitely poor, front and side. Great value for the money. Guy told me they are selling them under invoice right now.

The issue I have with the Camaro is the visibility and bulkiness of the car. For what it is, it's great don't get me wrong, but for daily driving I feel like a smaller, more agile car is more ideal.

I agree. My 135i hits way illegal speeds too easily as is. There’s something to be said about that initial press you back in your seat torque/acceleration. But beyond a point it’s hard to use.

Ditto for my M235i- although it is a lot of fun at the Stoplight Grand Prix. In contrast, my Club Sport is glacially slow by todays standards- needing a Turner Conforti chip to run the quarter in the high 15 second range. That said, you can beat on the 3er like a red-headed stepchild without the worry of attracting the attention of law enforcement.
