We have toyed with the notion of moving outside of the US although we remain here.
Cost of living is lower in many countries that would be desirable places in which to live.
Heck, even within US territory there is a place with lovely beaches, a nice climate and surprisingly cheap houses available, along with plenty of inexpensive flights between the island and the mainland.

The justice department is inherently political and always has been.

I think its common practice that they submit their resignation letters on day 1 and then the president asks some to withdraw and some not?
It seems the last time so many resigned later in the term was in 1973?

I'm no expert in these things, but when some people see mass resignations by government lawyers for ethical reasons, then some think about migration to places where they don't have to worry the causes of that.

I'm not saying the US is a terrible bad place, but there's lots of other places where people live quite happily too.
