All of the boxes I received from Rock Auto do NOT have the Mann holographic logo or other safety measures noted. Hing, does your link apply to American made Mann filters?

The ones I ordered from Bavauto did.......

Anyone with American made Mann filters, please chime in. The ones from Bavarian Auto are German made. Do the American boxes have the anti-conterfeit images and seals?

If the former then it could be different inside than a Classic inside. Without seeing it, just my speculation here.

Ran a little Google search and normally I reference the thread it's from but I was kinda in a hurry. Best pics I could find to ask the reference question. Thanks.

As for the conterfeit Mann's, based on the links it appears to be the German Mann not the American made canisters. Hey, for awhile they just had a Mann sticker on white Puro can, not sure they were too concerned about anti-counterfeit images/seals. Something tells me the Mann Puro Classic canister equivalent aren't a prime target at ~$2.30 a filter.

Hyundai is apparently having a similar issue with Chinese (I assume) knock offs of their canister filters. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nEfmPFRaoNo
