Any idea how much of Amazon's stuff is made in China?

I'm not sure I understand. When you say "Amazon's stuff", do you mean the products that THEY sell? Or the products available on Amazon as a whole?
Books? I don't know
OIL? most is refined in USA
Other stuff? 90-95%

Amazon doesn't produce most of the stuff on their website, they just sell it. They are probably on par with just about any other retail store.
The Kindle and things like that are the only things that Amazon "makes". But like Apple and others, they surely contract it out to some other country.
The Kindle is made by Foxconn.
What's the difference from Amazon or Chinamart online ?

It would be nice if they categorized stuff by where it was made, that would be pretty nice when searching for products for those that care. I do. I shop on Amazon a ton, very convenient and good prices.
I love Amazon (Prime). I have made a lot of very good quality stuff from Amazon. Some of it was made here, some of it China...
...and as far as the bad products I have owned (very few, as I research a lot before i buy anything), they have also been made here AND china.
So, both good AND bad stuff are made in BOTH countries !

I guess when Amazon finishes all these huge distribution centers, there will be a large outcry that the workers must be unionized.
I couldn't say an exact percentage, but I'd guess that the amount of stuff sold by Amazon that's made in China is about the same as any other big box retailer. After all, they are selling mostly the same stuff you can get at Walmart, Best Buy, Target, etc. I'd also agree that just because it's made in China doesn't mean it's junk, and just because it's made in the USA doesn't mean it's of good quality. I've seen plenty of quality stuff that was made in China, and plenty of [censored] that was made in the USA.
