PROFormance Powertrain sells them. They are just using the Amazon Market Place. What's really amazing, is that for Amazon customers with Amazon Prime, this engine ships for FREE!

$2090 for a reman 350? Not in your wildest, raunchiest dreams

One of few things you can't find on Amazon is gun. They have almost everything that you like to buy, either sold/shipped by Amazon or by third party on Amazon Market Place.

Yeah I remember when you could get a 305 from autozone for $799. A 350 couldn't have been much more.

Sheesh, I have a machine shop in the family and I pay way more than that! No way am I buying a new engine on Amazon.

Too much work to swap them, especially in our vans. When we put in a new engine we make sure it is BETTER than OEM...

Their prices are horrible. $2500 for a Jeep 4.0?

I could go to a junkyard and get a perfect running one for $200.

Or I could get one at Advance for way less than that ...

The engines are remanufactured and include warranties. Junkyard ones won't.

Well, technically a lot of junkyards do provide warranties on their engines, but I do agree it's not really the same thing.

Wrecking yards will warranty their engines...that's typically no problem.

Getting the labor claim out of them? There's the problem. They'll give you another engine but they won't pay to have the bad one removed and the next one installed.

Their price isn't to far off from what GM charges for a crate 4.3. I'd rather just buy it from GM they have a better warranty.

Or trade the truck in.

I could get a Spartan or ATK remanufactured engine for half of that at advance, before my commercial discount.

I also have to wonder who would pay these prices for an off-brand rebuild.
