Amazon changes AGAIN reviews...............

Almost as bad as ebays automated reviews. I still haven't figured that out. Most of the time Amazon just won't show me low reviews, I've never had a notification saying why.

Still works for me, just like before, at least through the web browser. I haven't tried it on the phone app.
I have a feeling this is related to my series of 1 star reviews. All on my PC browser

The latest few have been rejected like this beaut. What a waste of money! You think something like thread gauge would be correct, Hahahhahahahahaha

I quit giving reviews on Amazon when I was trying to leave a review for a set of Imore earbuds that I was replacing. Went to leave a review and got the message “we are not accepting reviews on this item from this account”. So for giggles I got on chat to ask why. If you ever get on Amazon CS chat, if there is no reply within 2 minutes, it automatically passes you on to the next CSR. So it was “please hold while I check this out” … 2 minutes later it’s “hi, I’m xxxx, let me go over this and get back in a minute”.. Since it was chat, I just let it go. Went through about 12-13 representatives before I finally just closed the chat. Used to be Amazon was really good if you had an issue. Now it’s as bad as eBay.

I tried Amazon on Edge since I never use it and I wasn't signed in. When I clicked on any review link/star, pic, it asked me to sign in. So Amazon is doing it to everyone. No need for paranoia.

I haven't noticed an issue, at least not from Chrome on my laptop. And I've left some scathing, 1-star reviews.

What I *have* noticed is that the app on my phone makes it hard to find my browsing history. I now have to search "browsing history on my account" and then I get a result to click on to get that data. Before there was a standalone button for my history.

I can no longer click on 1-2-3-4 star reviews in Amazon.

I get this:
"Your request to see more reviews has been sent. You'll receive an email within 5 business days."

Has this happened to others?
Never and I don't much look at the reviews other than to get fitment or measurement info.

Amazon's entire business model relies on being able to sell crappy Chinese counterfeit garbage to Americans by the metric ton. Why would you expect that they would be upfront about letting you know how crappy it is?

Counterfeit? That is on the customer for not purchasing from reliable companies on Amazon.

1 star reviews are absolutely critical to Amazon buyers. Sure there are fakes, but 9/10 when I buy garbage, THEN go back and read the reviews, it's a head smack. More than one clown saying "don't buy this"

No problem by rating level in the app?

It would make sense that Amazon would only show reviews to those logged in. There a for profit who’s goal is to monetize everything including reviews that are not worth anything.
