?The 5w30 is a heck of a deal also at $65.69
Yeah, I should have done the math before posting. It’s an okay deal if you like Amalie.?
$5.47+ tax per Qt sounds high to me
if you got a flat plane crank motorFound this thread on a search. So consensus is the 5w50 is a decent oil?
It is a 50-grade synthetic oil with a 5W winter rating, and says it meets the performance requirements of API SQ, but I didn't see it on the API EOLCS Directory. It makes no other substantive claims.Found this thread on a search. So consensus is the 5w50 is a decent oil?

I've been pretty happy with it in Nissan VQ35 and VK56 engines. VOA and UOA coming soon.Found this thread on a search. So consensus is the 5w50 is a decent oil?
It isn't a bad oil. 5k intervals and you will be fine. I agree with your tuner. The 15w50 Mobil 1 is like $25 for 5 quarts on Walmart dot com. It's the same crap almost as 5w50. Only thing is on cold starts it's slightly and I mean ever so slightly thicker. You aren't going to damage them at V8 with 15w50. On Mobil 1 website I believe they say their 15w50 is good down to -25 degrees in terms of it flowing. What you could do is run a VOA on it for us. Lol.My tuner recommends 5w50 for all Coyote engines, which my 255k, '12 F150 has. The price is typically high, so I have been using 0w40, that I catch on good deals. The pricing of this has me considering it.
I ran Amalie 5w50 on my TT Mercedes V8 CLS which is tuned balls to the wall. For around 25k miles. 5k intervals. It was smooth sailing. Oil is oil nearly. Just change it often. I like the NAPA 15w50 as it's Valvoline and their base oils are just superior in every way hell them **** Saudis make that stuff tell you what boyyyyuuuueeeeeI've been pretty happy with it in Nissan VQ35 and VK56 engines.
What vehicle is that oil for? I would pay a bit extra and get Mobil 1, Motul or some other brand name oil.Didn't put this in "Sales & Promotions" as this is a normal, not discounted price. Considering the price jumps on everything, this one doesn't seem to be affected (yet). There was some talk about 5w50 grades recently, and this one seems like the best deal. I'd stock up before the price jumps, if I needed this oil. This one is ~$85 for 12qts. Every other 5W50 I saw is $50-$80 for 6qts... So $100-$160 for 12qts. Not a bad deal for good oil.
Really. Can you explain what parts exactly? That additive pack looks the opposite of good. Im sure it works ok but it seems a bit light
