I live in a state where we have to get yearly car inspections and after the inspection they put the inspection decal on the bottom center of your windshield. Am I the only one that gets really irritated when the put the sticker on crooked? Or when they put the little sticky month and year decals on the big sticker and they don't center them? I'm not like the in other things, at least I don't get upset, but it really torques me. Do I need counseling or do I just need to find the "perfect" state inspection installer?

I hate it too. My plan is to move to a state which does not require inspections at all.

I vote "counseling".

If it really bugs you, you should ask if you can install the sticker yourself--they can "supervise" but that you want it done the way you want it done. They'll think you odd, but if they want your business... then they'll have to let you do the sticker.

I don't notice mine at all. Just like I don't notice the EZPass transponder either.

a crooked sticker "torques me", and gets you "really irritated".
this is sad and hilarious, at the same time.you must lead a pretty charmed life, if you feel compeled to go on the 'net and [censored] about something as petty as this.
this is even funnier than the thread about people whining about the chirp noise from key fobs.
three of us reading this are lol. thank you for the laugh, and have a good day.

have to check on the whining thread about the usps, for more laughs.
long live bitog, and whiners.

i have lived in texas, nebraska, and missouri...
texas had inspection stickers, nebraska none, and missouri does now.

can't say I even notice them there in that low spot on the corner. so i'm thinking if you take a small rag place it between you and the sticker and cover it up perhaps it won't bug you.

out of site out of mind...

Try putting both state and emissions sticker in left lower corner of windshield drivers side perfect. PA is like this and I do it daily. Safety is more important than sticker being lil wee crooked

Sticker shield
Also works for:
-HOA stickers
-yearly registration stickers

or you can do as some people in the area and have the last decade registration stickers all lined up (i think they ticket now for that... windshield obstruction... YMMV)

California does not have a windshield sticker. I also get annoyed when stickers are not straight. When I have one of the techs my work do the oil change on my mom's Fusion, they know to just give me the sticker so I can put it on myself.

I'd still be out gunned! LOL

Ever see the movie Deliverance?

And since we're talking, what's with all the ESPN guys and the brown shoes? Puke city.

If inspection stickers not being absolutely perfect gets to you that bad, you'd have a stroke driving my truck.

If it falls off before it expires, Ill stick a piece of scotch tape to hold it up. Lifes too short to be stressed over the dumb stuff.

ingredients:
-flexible plastic ruler
-small retractable blade
-steady hands
-light pressure

correct the lines
DONE!

Warning:
-pushing the blade trough the windshield does not qualify as light pressure
-do not cut other stuff around the sticker
-do not cut anything with letters/numbers on it

P.S.: or you can just install one of the dancing flowers/dogs/cats/whatever solar powered toys and be annoyed by something else.

Happy BITOG-er annoyance to you too! do you have wax in your oil?
