There is a difference between lying and not knowing.
Your "agent" didn't give you the right answer. That doesn't mean that they willfully deceived you, which would be actual lying.
Are you wrong to refuse to answer their calls? To refuse to let them conduct the inspection?

Read the entire policy statement, I'll bet you agreed to an inspection in that policy, despite what the agent said.

For your information i was on a three way call with the agent and the insurance company. They lied.
They come out to see if you lie. I don't. They want to see if you have a dog, a wood stove, and so on. I don't. No big deal.
But if this was a forum of women they would freak.
Insurance companies know that.
My policy makes no mention of an inspection. None. Not that it matters.
