Alternate Altima Filter?

I am looking for an oversize filter for my wifes 1999 Altima with the 2.4 engine. Right now I am running the PureONE 14610 on there (stock size). Are there any other filters that may be a little bigger I can use? Thanks

I'm not sure which P1 is oversized to the PL14610. But, if you are interested in Wix filters, I've successfully used the Wix 51334 on my 2001 Altima. The 51334 has the same OD and ID gasket measurements as the Wix 51356, which is the proper cross-reference filter to the Nissan 9E000 filter that your '99 probably takes. Other people have used the even larger Wix 51344 with the KA24DE engine as well, but the gasket measurements don't line up exact to the 51356.

) 7317, Carquest B 4620, STP 7317, ..Any filter for a year 2000 or earlier Maxima.

The pics are down now, but i disassembled a Supertech 7317 and was impressed by the filter. Just thought i would throw it in as a suggestion.

If you've got the room, the Purolator 24458 is the largest commonly available with your threads. Now, if you really want to get crazy, check out how I put a Purolator 20195 on my Subaru (both Subaru and your Nissan use M20x1.5 threads, the filter I've got on now is uses 3/4x16 threads, the link above explains how I did it). MAKE SURE THE GASKET IS GOING TO SEAL! It's in this thread.
