Anyone own or used or know anything about the Hyundai HY2000si 2200-Watt Portable Inverter Generator?

When I was looking for a generator I looked at these as well as one by champion and generac. In the end I bought a honda from wise sales for 999 delivered to my door. I didnt want to cheap out and be not satisfied. I have a friend who bought the champion and it isnt even close to the honda. It burns more fuel, is noiser and most importantly did not have power output when motor kicks on for the first time.

I've bought 3 of the 2k ones for my department. We have had them a few years now, probably 6. They have been everything you could ask for in a 2k generator. I looked ay a Yamaha unit but went Honda. Bought a 3k unit for our Emerg Mngt team. Substantially heavier but protected cage and more robust than the 2k.

Don't think you can beat the Hondas for 3k and under generators.

if Hyundai builds generators like they do cars they should be very good //// Do they also have a 10 year 100,000 mile warranty?? lol
