Alignment specs, are these okay?

He can make them "fix it" if he wants to pay for it, I'm sure they'll oblige.

And to clarify, after a conversation with my son where I described "curbed", he admitted that he at least on two occasions drove over curbs with the right front and right rear tires, so yes, he might have something bent.



If your son curb'd it twice, that is not a defect in the suspension that Honda would warranty it. Parts to repair the suspension would be out of pocket, preferably, your son's pocket.

Once he understands the financial impact to his wallet, he'll probably never do it again.

Dumb question: if it was from hitting the curb, wouldn't front toe be off? I don't get how castor could be tweaked but not toe. Camber and castor both affect toe--did he smack some curbs, get it aligned, and then backed into one more?

2014 Honda Civic EX-L Four door, 45K on it (out of warranty) He bought it new, this is the first alignment. There is a small amount of curb rash on right front, but he just had new Michelin's put on and they were Hunter road forced, all numbers were under 8.

I'll be curious to see how this resolves.

To me the front isn't worth chasing unless there is obvious damage, though it might not be to hard to change using existing movement.

Okay, here's the outcome.

Called the dealer and complained, they were very apologetic and we brought his car in and they aligned it again, for free.

All are green or yellow now.

After second time:
Right front tire -.03 camber (yellow), 5.0 caster yellow), 0.00 toe green)

Right rear tire - -1.2 camber yellow), 0.05 toe (green)

How did they accomplish this change?

The rear camber is certainly better, still if it were mine I'd like it to be less.

Wheel is centered no pull, son says it drives great.

Don't know exactly what they did, I assume this time they "did" something, instead of rushing it and grabbing a hot dog...
