Aftermarket Subaru Blue Coolant Ok?

Zerex Asian Blue is good stuff.

Other good coolants include Pentofrost A3, Peak OET Blue, and Recochem OEM Blue

The ST coolant could come from Reochem or Prestone. If it's from Recochem, it will say made in Canada. The Recochem is good to use. The Prestone is not.
The current OEM Subaru coolant from the dealer does state 2-EHA on the label and Prestone is the supplier. Prestone is now a part of Recochem.

I have a jug of Prestone Platinum Asian Blue here for a friend’s 21 Forester.

Peak Asian Blue Concentrate mixed with 1 gallon distilled water in BIG bucket. Cheaper than buying 2 gallon premixed + enough leftover for top offs between drains. DONE.

I put Peak Asian Blue into an 03 Honda CR-V. I'm happy with it. I bought Peak because it was on sale at NAPA at the time.

I recently bought Zerex Asian Blue to put in an 11 Hyundai Elantra. I haven't put it in yet. I'm going to return it to Oreilly and then go to NAPA or Walmart to buy Peak Asian Blue. Why?

I recently learned that Peak & Prestone Asian Blue are rated to last 15 years. Zerex and other brands are only rated to last 5 years.

Peak AB $19 at Walmart, $25 ar NAPA
Prestone $17 at Walmart, $25 at NAPA

I'm confident that Peak Asian Blue is good. Anyone have knowledge of the Prestone Asian Blue?

Only Prestone Asian is rated for 15 years/350k miles, not Peak. Prestone is excellent and if you don't care about color, it's the same as their universal formula and you could just get that and save even more.

And be sure to get it at Walmart, don't buy from an auto parts store and spend more, unnecessarily. If you wanted Peak Global Lifetime, something like that you'd need to go to Napa.
