Have been considering a new drill, have looked at Worx Nitro (2 batterys) ,Metabo HPT, or Hercules (harbor freight) and others, trying to keep price around $100.00 or bit less, any thoughts or experiences.

I used Black and Decker for a few years before getting Milwaukee hammer drill. B&D worked fine for light duty jobs that didn't run hours of use, they can be had cheap.
I have a kit similar to this (price is in Canadian dollars):

I will add I have the older, blue version of the Ryobi D48CKC. It's a corded clutch drill. I have never in my life needed a cordless drill nor do I want to deal with batteries when I seldom need one.

Yep, they are not for everyone......if you dont need a drill on a daily or weekly basis, pulling out a cord is the way to go, and electric drill last forever

I've had enough cheap drills to fill a trash can.
Take advantage of the Christmas sales, and look at the Dewalt 20V drill.
That's what I have, and it is the nicest drill that I have ever had for not much money.
You should be able to get into one for about a hundred.

What size you looking for 3/8" or 1/2"?
sorry I missed that<<1/2 inch with at least 400 or more-inch lbs of torque, will be driving deck screws drilling etc. already have a corded hammer drill for concrete ,,.something that is fairly heavy duty, that won't be a problem tool.

I have yellow Ryobi drill and a few other tools. Hard to beat for the price for the general homeowner DIYer.

I have this set of Rigid - availalbe only through Home Depot. There made by the same parent company as Milwaukee. Not saying there anywhere as good as Milwaukee but there good enough for me.

If you register them they have a lifetime warranty for the original owner - including the batteries.

$99 for drill, impact driver and a couple batteries.

Although they appear to be brushed tools but that is a fair price. I would take that before any of the other TTI branded stuff.
