What is it you’re looking to get out of the drill? I have 18v ryobi drill and impact for the heavier jobs also I went with the ryobi brand because of their line of tools available on the one+ battery. For smaller jobs ie my electrician tool bag I have the older black and white makita 12v drill, impact and right angle drill. These work great on zipping receptacles and switches in and out as well as setting electrical boxes. If you want a good tool to last spend the extra money once.. otherwise anything out of horror freight or Walmart will be ok. If you go shop off Amazon look at the ac delco or blk & decker

I have a DeWalt DCD708 20V that's been reliable and powerful enough for my purposes. 1/2" chuck. I also have a beater drill, an old corded Sears Craftsman with 1/2" chuck. It's built like a tank. I use that for dirty jobs.

I rather go scouting a few yard sales for old used power tools than buying something new that's cheap. That's how I found my beater drill. Cheap tools always fail when it counts. Buying cheap tools costs more in the long run.
