Hi , just purchased a Aeroflow AF72-6002 transmission oil cooler with a fan.
In the installation manual it mentioned to use Aeroflow Aeroseal thread paste on the 1/2" npt threads which is a Anaerobic sealer paste with PTFE .
Actually says warranty void unless Aeroseal thread paste or equivalent is used on all aluminium threads.
Question is I don't have the Anaerobic sealer but I do have Permatex’s High Temperature Thread Sealant part number 59235 the white PTFE sticky goo stuff.
Is this suitable for the NPT threads for a transmission oil cooler or should I order and use the Aeroflow Aeroseal thread paste ?
