So i like my son growing up simple and knowing how to do things the old fashion way before computers and gizmos. He does know how to use a lot of tech stuff for his age though. That got me thinking. We are going camping in a month and it'll be at a state park. He will still be 3 yrs old he turns 4 in july. My mom was very much a worry wart when I was a kid so I didn't get to go hunting young and stuff and as a kid i was kind of a baby Imo. I did grow out of it though.
This seems kind of complex for the question but that's ok I guess. Would you guys let your 3 yr old have his own tent or would you get a big enough family tent. He wants to use his own tent but I kind of think he shouldn't. I worry about someone snatching him in the night. Is my worry unrealistic or well justified? I don't want to be the parent who babies their kids but on the other hand making it to adulthood in one piece is a plus.
I will be giving him my first fishing pole on the trip. I am excited to hand that down. I'm glad I was able to keep it in decent shape all those years. Thanks everyone. Have a good night.
