A coworker has a high mileage 08 Liberty 100k? Anyway, thinking about new shocks. Thinking about new complete strut units from Moog or Monroe.($100 or 130 @ Rock Auto each)no moog rear shocks but monroe sensa track - work ok w/moog fronts? Mostly on road, no wild Jeep XC driving.Any obvious related failure items? Comments? Thanks!

Monroe parts are fine for stock replacements on a daily driver, and no reason to mix them with anything else f/r. The Moog quick struts are possibly made by Monroe anyway if Internet rumors are true.

KYB struts (but not quick struts) and shocks are available and are most likely 'better'.

i put monroe reflex on the rear of my 08 jeep wk and it was a nice ride. stiffer than stock but nicely controlled and not obnoxious either.

I also use and recommend Monroe quick struts.

Personally I have never seen a MOOG strut, and and not inclined to use a rebadged strut since I don't exactly know which Monroe strut it really is since they make many different ones for my car.
