Not really. I prefer that the Wix usually has a silicone ADBV and thread end bypass, but those are only "usualies." The Wix filter for my G uses nitrile, just like the Hastings, so I don't worry about it, and I've used a lot of nitrile ADBV filters (and filters with no ADBV) over the years. The difference up here is roughly $2 or $3, and, oddly enough, the Wix oversize and Hastings oversize are cheaper than the proper ones. I believe, though, that my F-150 filter is cheaper for me in the Wix variety.

I'd have no problem using either filter for a 7500 mile OCI.

P.S. That Legend was probably my best car overall.

I wanted to thank you for the suggestion for the filter and website. I was able to use a 5 dollar off coupon that I found online so I got 6 filters for 32.56 including tax.

Thank you for your help. I ordered enough to keep me going for a few years!

Thanks for posting that link. I think I might order some filters for the cars I maintain from there. I've heard good things about Baldwin and Hastings filters.

Bummer, I can't seem to sign up for an account there. It hangs on the "Address Information" screen.

Edit: Got it to work in IE instead of Chrome.

Not a problem! I've been getting some for free from a local oil change place for helping their promotions. When an oil change place uses only Hastings, they are obviously trying harder than the average bear.

Before that, I was getting them at Peavey Mart, an agricultural place here, which is convenient and cheap.

I just wanted to say that I am blown away by that Zoro site. Not only did I get the filters at a great price, but I used a $5 off coupon and got the free shipping... I ordered it yesterday afternoon, and they're already at my doorstop today. Will definitely be ordering more from them.
