ACdelco PF61 C&P 5500 miles

ACdelco PF61 off a 2003 Chevy Tahoe 137000 miles. This filter went for 5500 miles with VML 5w30 filter looked really good.

I think a lot of the metal shavings in the can was from where is used a Dremel to cut it open.

What are you using for Dremel cut off wheels ? I assume not the 20-pack for $20 at Lowes ...

Not sure haha. I Bought a Dremel at a yard sell for like 10 Bucks and it had some in there.

If they're the solid 1-piece wheels, you gotta go slow with those or they'll break. The fiber reinforced wheels are great, but expensive. They have a 100-pack on ebay for $12 but I don't know how good they are. Probably Chinese knock offs.

Nothing wrong here, looks good. Out of curiosity only, louvered or hole center tube? Dremel likely accounts for some/much of the can debris Thanks for c&p.

9% and a Fram Ultra. But after cutting this thing open I don’t see why not use it more.

Jxthomps- I use the Longacres cutter. It is fast and does not create shavings. Longacres filter cutter
